Death came too soon and in such a violent way.
I understand if this is too gory for some to visualize, and I do apologize but in the name of truth in factual reporting, it was necessary to post this.

The beloved tomato was in it's prime. So sweet. Sometimes known as a "love apple".
Tomatoes were once referred to as "love apples" because there was a superstition that people would fall in love by eating them.

And so... my love... I have witnessed your demise. But the question is... who did this horrible deed?
