To our darling POOH... You were such a gentle dog. You asked for little but gave so very much. You would wait patiently for us to come home from work. You would always be by our side. You were well behaved and a true gentleman.
You were a cancer survivor and after all of your radiation treatments you lived a good life and always looked forward to your daily walk.
And you were a party animal... especially when we had our annual Christmas party. You would dress up in your chic brown velvet bowtie and greet each guest as they came in.
And then when it became too difficult on your joints to walk, I would put on my green garden clogs, lift you in the little green garden cart with a pillow and fancy sham, and walk you in the neighborhood. (That really embarrassed Daddy!) The children all loved you.
And then when a diabetic emergency and recurrent bladder stones occurred, we had to make one of the toughest decisions of all. We could not let you hurt anymore.
We held you in our arms and whispered our love to you and said our goodbyes.
You were the very best!
