In June & July 2006 we traveled to France via a stop over with friends in London. Flying from London to Marseille we started our little adventure by taking the train to Avignon, a city I had enjoyed exactly 10 years before. A Peugeot 306 hire car awaited us and we spent the next 2 weeks in Provence with a gite in the village of St Remy de Provence as our base. After our 2 weeks we took the TGV to Paris where we had arranged an apartment 'swap' for a lovely 2 bedroom apartment near Gare St Lazare. This was our home for almost 3 weeks to explore Paris and also the Loire Valley. We have made a photo book of our time in France
