I'm on the road & away from the computer for a few days but here's one from the air on the way from Los Angeles to Tucson where California's mountains give way to desert.

Heavy contrast increase from raw and more contrast boost with curves, erasing the corners of that layer to reduce vignetting. Contrast layer set to luminosity to minimize saturation and saturation turned down a bit in the raw conversion as well.
