Trite, right?

I had a marvelous idea for an object to be photographed in the street, but Old-Timer's stole it while I wasn't looking. I also had a better street picked out, but some protest or other pre-empted it.

It took about an hour to dig out the Nikon CP5000, recharge its battery, affix the .68X Wide Adapter, and crawl into the midst of the neighbors' wondering attention ("Hey Marge! Crazy Frank's out there poking his camera around again! Look at that idiot!")

In this configuration the 7.1mm focal length translates to approximately 19 mm, if I recall correctly. You see an image cropped maybe five percent to level the horizon a bit (PupPod* is on holiday, so the 'pod was a "The pod™.ca" ; two for two, non-cooperators)
