I was out taking pictures of this 'Abandoned Planet Bookstore' sign in
San Francisco's Mission district and this guy just smiled like he wanted
me to take his picture so I took his picture and he liked that. He's
working a shopping cart, collecting bottles for recycling money with a
fresh pair of surgical gloves on.

Shot with the Sigma 12-24: a big fat intimidating lens. I was about 18
inches from the guy's face for the closeup at 12mm and he was loving it.
