Sept 9: The garden season has all but officially ended in the suburbs this
week. This years exceptionally hot summer has been responsible for a bumper
crop of tomatoes and cucumbers, and other vegetables popular among amateur
gardeners. It will be good eating for the next little while, just the thing
to supply energy for some timely yard maintenance.
