In September I was at the California Capitol Airshow where they had some of the last flying Lockheed P-38 "Lightning" fighters. My father flew these great planes during the war, and they were part of my childhood indoctrination into aviation. These were fine examples of the breed, and this one "Honey Bunny" a P38-L was a great restoration of a great aircraft.
