For a photojournalistic mandate the obvious subject in our area is the devastating floods that have indundated the river valleys of eastern Massachusetts this spring. As illustrated here near the Sudbury River in Wayland, the floods can produce scenes of almost haunting beauty - as long as you aren't an affected landowner!
