1554 - Marfa, Texas, Presidio County Courthouse, built in 1886. A
favorite since it is essentially unmanipulated, not even a little
crop, and with the exception of overexposure on the exposed
tower, pretty accurate representation of the scene as I saw it.

Marfa has some history and interesting features, pretty good Wiki
page. This was the town where the cast of "GIANT" hung out during
filming in the mid-1950s. You used to be able to go a bit north
of town and find the big old house that Bick Benedict (Rock
Hudson) built and James Dean desecrated when he struck oil, but
it is nowhere to be seen these days.
