I nearly trod on this petal (~12mm across) on my back stairs. To get the shot I wanted with the reflection off the rainwater on the step, I got my partner to hold the cable-connected flash in various positions for me. It was the fun of doing that with her, and her joy in seeing the result, that makes this my favourite of the month.
