There is something about the moments at the end of a snow storm that are very calming. The sun slowly emerges though the vail of the last flakes of snow and the darkness of the clouds give way to the white of the landscape. Everything appears pure and fresh, the air smells clean and invigorating and there is a newness in the way you see each tree or pond or house. The earth is reborn with a new mantel of linens; fresh, clean, and untouched by human hands.
