To new home. A giant boab tree from WA's Kimberley has travelled 3000km
to be transplanted in KIngs Park in Perth.
The tree is thought to be more than 750 years old and had to be removed from the Kimberley town of Warmun on Sunday because of roadworks in the area.
It was then tied to a 25 metre truck for its 3,000 kilometre journey to Kings Park.
The boab is 14 metres high and weighs 36 tonnes.
