What a sunset!

Queenscliff

I took a few snaps of the sun setting at Queenscliff, turned to go back to my car and then looked back. It was just beautiful. Did a quick change of lens and popped this one. I deliberately underexposed by two stops.

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
1/500s f/5.6 at 33.0mm iso1000 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Wow! Great shot. Colors are amazing. I feel funny offering such a great photographer advice - but, I think the shot is too evenly divided between sky and ground. How about a version with a little cropped from the bottom? Anyway, great shot.

Spectacular! Opportunities like these only few, at best, a few minutes. I've done the same thing, pack it up and while driving away, the sky opens up and THERE is the light you are waiting for. This is a great shot.
On a separate note, how do you like your 24-105 lens ?
