Teens Circa 2005

Nottingham

Saturday - Something new for me - Street Photography
We had about an hour and a half to spare between the ice hockey semi-finals held at the Nottingham Ice Centre.
We lost by the way 3-0 to the eventual winners
Anyway, a little walk around town - thought I'd try and be unobtrusive but was obviously spotted by the two girls having a rest from shopping!

Nikon D70 ,Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro
1/160s f/4.0 at 105.0mm ISO 640 full exif

other sizes: small medium large auto

I've never tried it myself, too scared of getting beaten up :)

I tried a bit on Saturday as well, and yes it is intimidating when you are not used to it.... I suppose the idea is to persevere and eventually you blend into the background

Great start Sheena! Sam and I went to Woking on Sunday and we kept a lookout for Ray's lens!

You need a false beard and some camouflage. I haven't the nerve!

Welcome to street photography, Sheena!
I particularly like how you've captured the guy on the left - he really does encapsulate a teenager on the street.
