12 February

Today's PaD is an idea I've used before (although not for PaD). The reasons (excuses!) for this being: it's raining outside, the wind is howling, I've had to work this morning because we're so far behind, I'm going out shortly, I must do some housework first....etc, etc. The main reason is, of course, that I'm lacking in inspiration.

Anyway this shot. The pound note is one I obtained, in mint condition (and it remains so), just prior to them going out of circulation around 20 years ago. The pound coin is a battered one I've just found in my purse.

Very nice. It's good to see 'proper' money again!

lovely detail, really good sharp image. Not lacking in inspiration if you are going to compare like this. Love the battered coin.

watch out the Bank of England will be on to you! If the note were still legal tender, they may think you are a counterieter-er.
