Two by Two

Penistone

Took a trip to Royd Moor Wind Farm near Penistone. These turbines are two of thirteen and I got two tractors thrown in too!
I know a lot of people think wind turbines are a blot on the landscape but in this setting they look good.
Not sure I'd like to live near them though they make quite a whirring sound!
Oh and you can just about make out a coal fired power station (think it might be Ferrybridge) on the horizon.

I've always thought the wind turbines to be attractive - if traditional windmills were re-introduced there would be objections! LOL!

Super composition - there should be a law that all tractors and combine harvesters are red and clean! ;0))

The bright red tractors add nicely to the composition! Those big propellers... they'll never take off ;o)

Very well seen and taken, perfect framing, they can be a blot and also add to the landscape depending on location. v
