The Cutting Edge

Sheffield

Stainless steel sculpture in front of Sheffield Railway Station.
My first attempt at night photography. Some room for improvement, I think, but it turned out better than I thought it would.
I believe this sculpture represents a steel ingot. This is the 'cold' steel before it goes through the furnace. The other, flattened, end has a red/orange light.

other sizes: small medium original auto

This is amazing Sheena - don't know how I missed seeing it earlier in the week. Fabulous work.
