This place was remote out there and could easily missed at the edge of the church terrace, except if one followed the 14 Stations of the Cross it went somewhere, so we did.

There was a small gathering of people by the foot of the cross. The Cross design was astounding peculiar, there was no Cross behind it. On the ground, there was a mold of the cross cut-out, as if the Resurrected Savior was lifted out of it, and stood upright with the open hand in the crucifixion figure.

People were lining up for their turn to wipe the oil miraculously seeping from the knee joint of the Savior. We got some wipes on the Medjugorje handkerchiefs purchased from the church in a hurry as the sun was setting. I was frustrated getting nothing and walked away after repeated attempts. After exiting the shrine area, the Rose fragrance hit me all of a sudden, I naturally reacted by looking around as if someone’s perfume was in the area, but there was none! No wind draft, no one around within the range. I realized quickly thereafter that I was in His Presence! It was awesome!
