There was no particular about this place in architecture design other than within the church terrace, except if one followed the 14 Stations of the Cross which led to somewhere, so we did.

There was a small gathering of people by the foot of the cross. The Cross design was astounding peculiar, there was no Cross behind it. On the ground, there was a mold of the cross cut-out, as if the Resurrected Savior was lifted out of it, and stood upright with the open hand in the crucifixion figure.

People were lining up for their turn to wipe the oil miraculously seeping from the knee joint of the Savior. We got some wipes on the Medjugorje handkerchiefs purchased from the church in a hurry as the sun was setting, the sky was getting rather dark yet the pilgrims still hung around without much light in the open space of the praying terrace. As I was frustrated walking away after some repeated futile attempts, I exited the shrine area, the Rose fragrance hit me all of a sudden, I naturally reacted by looking around as if someone’s perfume was in the area, but there was none, no one was around. No wind draft, no soul around within range.
I was in His Presence! It was awesome!
