Just watched her story again on EWTN. I played the doctor D. in our Bernadette play at the convent school of Nazareth, Kentucky in 1950's. It was all girls, and I am tall.
I loved seeing the movie about her again, and cried through much of it...I now want to visit. My daughter took me to Jerusalem and all the nearby places in Israel for my Christmas present this year, so maybe we can come to Lourdes and Nevers if that is where Bernadette is. God Bless everyone involved. My daughter is baptized Episcopal, but after visiting Israel, she saw a program about young Mary when she accepted the Angel's notification of being the Mother of our Lord...My daughter, Karen, actually called me and said how difficult it must have been for Mary to be pregnant and unmarried.
