Open or not, I can't answer. Vertical or Horizontal? No, the bag on the bike is just at 45 degrees. Luxury or modesty? A mix of both.
Technically perfect despite a contrast that was difficult to handle.

This image just oozes style!!! Simple, strict framing and impressive lighting. A shop that is open yet closed....like the chinese mind itself

I like the relationship of the handbags in the window the ornamental bag placed over the bicycle seat -- it ties the entire image together thematically. There are no shoppers in the image, but the containers they use to carry their purchases stand in for them.
