The expression on both the boy and the horse is priceless. Great capture.

It is such a spirit-lifting image, and it was taken almost a year ago, if not for Phil's photo, we would almost miss it... How many hiden treasures you still have? :))

The communication is so free, so spontaneous, so delightful. Ah, yes, there are things accessible only to the very young or to another species. Bravo!!!
(And of course, brilliant ping!)

Very cool image! So full of emotion. The exact right split second.

There is just so much going on in this image for me... the horse... almost has a sense of knowing, patiently waiting to be patted. Love the little boy's fingers on left hand..remminds me of a Michaelangelo fresco..."Birth of Adam" KMc

Too funny! Great capture, and I like the camera tilt which adds a whimsical nature to the image.

Fantastic!! Really! You've clicked your camera in the exact second....... And what a treat for the professor :)

So amusing. Hard to imagine finding such a scene in a metopolitan place like Shanghai. Incongruous indeed!
Guest 24-Jul-2006 03:55
Wow! Wow! Wow! J'adore! Bravo. Excellent...

Thanks, Kal, for the dedicating this incongruous image to me.All the kid needs is a camera, and few years on his chin, and he can take my place athttp://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/63230119 !

Fantastic catch..:>

Brilliant ping. The same childlike expression we got to see in Phil. The differences are that this little one has no camera yet and the horse is less indifferent :-) BTW welcome back, Kal.

Nice!
I like the child expression!
Great ping

Great work. Are those Boston Redsox shoes?
Superb comp and expression. The horse appears to be wearing a smile

The moment caught Kal. The child's interaction with the horse is wonderful.
Guest 23-Jul-2006 10:20

To only dispense with my daily spectacles. And see afresh with marvel and curiousity.Of my other friends not yet known, even though they are reaching for me.Was it the tree leaning over to whisper? Was it the crow cocking its head? Was it the stone waiting patiently to listen in peace with me? When I should refuse to be pushed through my days. And be closer to them.

LOL!
A "standing ovation" Ping ;-))
