Superb catch, love the static expression of the man. V Roberto

Empty space to fill and plenty time to kill. Sad but real. I really like this one. Voted.

Excellent shot. balance is key in everything. This has it. He appears to be waiting or longing for something, a customer, shift to end, something. But he could also be content. The longing comes from the comp and the monotone. The other comes from the position of the hands.

Love the depth in this image. The man is somehow far. You really gave the feeling of time and space.

ah, the photography dimensions....

A fine environmental portrait, Kal, particularly because of scale incongruity. All that empty space to fill, and just one bored employee to fill it. If you had used color, you would have filled that space with energy, which would change the meaning entirely. As it stands, the life is just sucked out of the picture by black and white abstraction, and it makes this lonely man appear even more lonely.

Ah, the yin yang --- serenity by keeping life and everything else in balance.

Time and space still, almost suspended...

Theres real anticipation in this one. He appears to know exactly the course (pun intended) of his evening, this being his last chance to sit. A kal special (pun intended).

Ha ha, another 'noodle'. The 'space' makes this 'time' so special because Shanghai gives the impression of crowdness more often.
