so vivid!! I don't know why but this one reminds me of my childish games in those afternoons.. the colors, lines and blur are so expressives.. beautiful.
Love this as well, just a powerful image. Such contrast between the stillness of the lines and the movement of the car. Such a nice red as well. Regards!
An image about a race against ourselves. Break neck speed trying to be at the finish line first, when the truth is, there is nobody else really there, it's in our imagination "Compete or Die" as Phil said. Chris touched on a key here...this is a toy, this life is just a game. I never thought about it Alem, but maybe those lanes are a metaphor for the rules/life we are meant to stick to on the road. Kind of a good contrast to your image about anarchy and revolution herehttp://www.pbase.com/alem/image/50109653 .

again a "free spirit" style picture. and, again, you know I just love it....
But, this time, the image speaks of just the opposite....
Structures, frames, speed... just the opposite, as said, of freedom.
The sad feeling of the picture is, however, contrasted by its vivid colors.
Such an easy complex image, very expressive and communicative.
I love it, whatever it may be. I am a sucker for primary colors. The race you speak of in the title is implied by the five lanes and the blurred object at lower left. As for life itself, that's better left to the imagination. And that's what abstractions such as this can do for us. If we use our imaginations, we can make our art out of your expression. To me, this image speaks of compulsive behavior. The object at lower left is trying to get somewhere first, even though all the other lanes are empty. I know people who behave like this. They must compete or die.
