Thanks so much for your comments. This is my first time to your site, and you have some fantastic images. This one I love for many reasons, the light, texture, and the father daughter moment. Regards Kal.

Also another image taken with the Sony DSC P-72 Phil! The trend is consistent. I don't know if it is possible for you to do so, but I think a copy of our dicussion on equipment, exposure modes etc, would be very useful somewhere here. How about at the main gallery view? I will post a copy of my e-mail to you if you could do the same with your response to me. It will serve as a reminder to me lest I ever dare forget and get blided by the light of modern technology. Thanks again!

This is both form and content. The form abstracts the image and makes it incongrous. There is also scale incongruity here as well. Human values? Protection, comfort, love, responsibility all come to mind. Another very expressive image, Kal.

Is this form and content? I am not sure I see the incongruity, aside from the child having no body, effectively being a part of me. I sometimes feel uncomfortable with this image. I don't like my picture being taken. The facelesness could be anyone, but I know differently. That must affect the way I see this image. A little like Jen must see her self-portrait athttp://www.pbase.com/image/43368488 in a very personal way.
