Lake Lanier near Gainesville, Ga. is the chief water source of the Atlanta, Ga. metropolitan area. This year's devastating 100 year drought has the water levels at record lows. Combined with 50% less rain and water release from the Buford Dam have put severe
strains on water usage and the lake is in danger of running out soon if rain doesn't come. Photos were taken at Van Pugh Park and Old Federal Park on the lake. More photos will be added as the crisis worsens.
