While driving through Ngorongoro Crater we came upon some other stopped safari vehicles and were wondering what the attraction was, until we saw a female lioness walking right among the vehicles. After that we must have seen at least 6 or 7 of them coming right between the vehicles, with several of them actually lying right by the side of one of the vehicles, and one even under it, to seek the shade. Kind of what one might see on one of the National Geographic specials.
