Milford Sound is actually a misnomer. The 'Sound' is actually a fjord cut by a glacier out to the Tasman Sea. We did a cruise on the 'Sound', and then did a helicopter flight over the sound a surrounding alps, and landed on one of the glaciers near the sound.
