Thingvellir National Park

Thingvellir National Park is the home to the world's longest running Parliament, first established in 930 A.D.. It also has a dramatic landscape formed as a result of being along the border between the North American and European tectonic plates. Lake Thingvellir is also the largest natural lake in Iceland.
