My dad was a member of KMAG from 1949 to 1950, and was there when the war started. He remembers seeing South Korean troops panicking in the streets of Seoul and tearing off their uniforms and throwing them away.

I have scanned a photo of his patches, with one rare one in it that has gold and green thread among the white thread in the eagle and so forth. This patch is heavier and thicker than the others, and I have a feeling that it was some type of a 'dress patch' or something.

My dad was also in the CID while in KMAG.

If anyone would like to see the photo of his patches, just send me an email.

He passed away just recently, and I have all of his patches and so forth.
