Mr. Butcher, I would love to make contact with you. My uncle. Ralph Leland Sisemore served there at the same time in the same battallion. We are looking for information about the base and interested in possiblly obtaining a patch. His has disappeared over the years. Thank you.

AB is correct. The patch shown is a non-regulation "show patch" with metalic thread.
The official patch is white on 'blood red' with no border and no black.

My uncle worked with Nash Tatum in Korea. He would really like to be able to get in touch with him. I believe he was a photographer. My uncle's name is Duane (Dewey) Pfister. If anyone has any knowledge of this person, I would really be greatful so that I can pass the information on to him. I also know that he is looking for any information on reunions.

The SCARWAF patch you show is incorrect.Contact me,I have pic of the real patch.I know,I served in the 839th Engr Avn Bn (SCARWAF) in Korea 1952-53.
