Big Bend, Texas

In May-June of 2007, a group of us snake enthusiasts headed down to the area around the Rio Grande's Big Bend, including Big Bend National Park. This is an amazing area with both phenomenal landscapes and an amazing diversity of endemic and other local wildlife. Our goals included several of the local rattlesnakes, lizards, and colubrids. Despite an unforseen full moon, we had some success.
