Panglao Island

I went to Alona Beach on Panglao Island off the south coast of Bohol for the diving, but it didn't look too shabby above the water either!

Well, as for those who've been in Panglao;- words cannot contain in describing this place. Only those eyes who have seen have the words.

I am living in the Philippines and will build a house in Danao, 2 km away from Alona beach in the next month. Panglao is absolutely one of the places one has to see in this country. Dives in Balicasag are among the best worldwide anyway. Some pics here :http://www.pbase.com/lou_giroud/pilippines

i love panglao, balicasag and pamilacan! boracay can never live up to these islands in bohol. balicasag is amazing and have never seen anything like it - just a meter off the shore and it's already a diving spot. the philippine government should promote bohol even more compared to boracay island - sylvia garcia

Serena, I myself am from Panglao and as i look at the photos it make me homesick coz i'm working abroad. Really great shots and i could say that i'm proud to be from Panglao Island. Kudos! Gladys
