Cao Dai Temple

Cao Dai is an interesting blend of many religions, including Buddhism, Confucianism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism and Taoism. As well as a number of gods, the followers also worship three saints, one of whom is the French poet, Victor Hugo.

The religion was founded in 1924, and is the third largest in Vietnam - there are around 8 million follwers here. I visited their largest temple, in the town of Tay Ninh, about 100 km from Saigon.

Some of my photos are now available to buy in a variety of sizes and finishes, or as digital files, at Serenity Photography.
