General Barrow (Ret.) is a former Commandant of the U. S. Marine Corps. His family once owned Afton Villa. He is a well decorated World War II veteran and has served his country with great honor and dignity. Two of his many earned honors were the Silver Star and the Navy Cross.
He was a guest of Mrs. Trimble for the Audubon Pilgrimmage.
October 30, 2008 - General Barrow went to his eternal reward. May the angels lead him into Paradise.
