SP in Historical Townhouse in Vieux Carre

New Orleans, Louisiana

We are looking at an oil painting, one of two, that a friend asked me to bid on for her at an auction because they were of her great grandparents. The sky is the limit she told me. So, I ended up getting them for $18,000. It was great bidding against all the art dealers, especially with someone else's money.

other sizes: small medium original auto

Well done on the auction. Hope the family problems worked out. I like the colors and candidness of this image. It is interesting.

Wow that must be great - no limit and someone else paying!

Congrats on winning the auction...the best part is winning with someone's money. Good job,Coleen!

I like the red wall. You look very 'glam' :-)

Wow, how exciting to bid with someone else's money. I like this unusual SP shot and the town house looks very interesting.

Good going! I hope they pay you back, or you'll end up with the paintings.

It's always great to spend someone else's money!!! Especially 18,000 dollars worth (plus commission and taxes, I'll bet)!

Great SP.

I like your smile in this shot (LOL)

Sorry to hear about the family stuff. And, from the PaD shot it looks like your going rather than coming,. I hope/pray you find the peace and serenity you need with your family matters.

Nice colour outfit, it suits you. There's always someone taller. It's nice to be trusted with others money on something like this.

Wow! 18K for an old portrait.... what fun to be in on that action.
So, inquiring minds want to know ... how tall are you? ;-)

Sky is the limit huh? Yeah, that would be a fun auction. Hey shorty, nice self portrait. ;)
