Stone bridge over bayou

City Park in New Orleans, Louisiana

This wonderful little bridge has granite steps where one can sit and enjoy the surroundings. A closeup of this pretty, early 1900's structure can be seen at http://www.pbase.com/septembermorn/image/37530098.
Our temperature today is in the 70's, unlike a week ago when it was in the 30's. Can't say I miss the 30's and I will never wish for snow again.
I have tried in vain to leave comments on many of your pictures in the past few days. Hope PBase gets straightened out soon.

Quite an "oxymoron"........... stone bridge & bayou. In all of my travels through Louisiana this is a first. Thanks for the opportunity to look at my home state as I travel the nation. Glen
