Spillway Opens Twice in 2019 14th Opening

This is the Montz side of the Spillway.

Because of excessive rain added to an already swollen River, the Corps of Engineers re-opened the Spillway on May 10. The power of the water creates a mist. It was opened on February 27 and closed two months later. An historical event according to the Corps.

The river is down about five feet up here from it's high last week but still in flood action stage, just on the low end. Hopefully everything will work out. How is the lake doing? How much water can go into it before it gets to high?
