We have celebrations from morning to night this weekend on the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
The Archbishop of New Orleans celebrated this Mass which I learned later was his fifth Mass today in various parts of the metro area.
I liked all the color in this, especially the red on the Archbishop's vestments.

I still pray for all of you from New Orleans & those in Katina's path. Some of the hurt never goes away. Its so sad to still see the devastation that is still left.

We have just watched footage of 5 yrs ago...a terrible reminder of how badly you were all let down by those meant to protect!!
