This house is the only one on its block that appeared to be liveable. The other houses did not appear to have been touched since the floodwaters of Katrina. I believe this was an area of retired people who do not have the means, the energy or the heart to do better.

Been wandering through the gallery...many sad outcomes...I hope this little treasure has a long lifetime ( that ridge capping needs fixing before the rains come )
