I lived as a boarder in the convent 1958-1960. I graduated from St. Maurice School in June 1960. I have intense memories of my life in this wonderful old building. The nuns lived on the 3rd floor, except for Sister Regis, who lived in the older girls' dorm and Sister Camille in the younger girls' dorm, both on the second floor. In efforts to find out what happened to the Most Holy Sacrament nuns, I learned that six had died, some after leaving the convent for the lay life in the 1960s, others while still an MHS sister, and still others who left MHS to join other orders. My dear friend Sister Eucharista left MHS for the lay life and later, suddenly had a massive stroke that killed her.

I wish I had information about my friends that sheared my school and boarding days in this convent in the years 1964-1968. I'm from Honduras central America . So sorry to know that it might be closed.
