I am a minister who is familiar with some of the churches that you have listed, some of the first of which are listed inaccurately. They should read as follows:
1. Kawaiahao Church;
3. Atherton Memorial Chapel, Central Union Church;
4. Main Sanctuary, Central Union Church;
5. ditto;
6. Sacred Hearts Roman Catholic Church.
To photograph is human, to photograph and label correctly is divine.

What a wonderful walk down memory lane! In the mosaic on the front of the Latter-day Saint Tabernacle in Honolulu, Jesus looks so happy and kind... You know how they have "Touchdown Jesus" at Notre Dame? My wife and I refer to this as "Aloha Jesus," and I love to visit when I'm in town.

Regarding the comments of: No1_Saint@hotmail.com and the LDS Tabernacle as you've beautifully displayed, it is in fact, a formal LDS temple and not at all as a tabernacle or stake center. Its visitations are restricted to recommended members of the LDS Church. However, there is a visitor's center on site, and visitors are most welcomed to visit the grounds around the temple.

A lovely tribute to some wonderfully designed and constructed houses of worship.

F.Y.I the LDS Temple listed as being in Honolulu is not a LDS Temple at all. The only LDS Temples are in Kona and Laie. The listed picture is a Tabernacle or Stake Centre....the LDS equivalent to a Cathedral for public worship.

Amazing variety of religious architecture, Selvin!
I have a personal preference for the compositions where the combination of lansdcape and architecture is particulalrly attractive, such as Byodo-in, Temple (gorgeous!!!!) - Waimea, Big Island (splendid green church!) - Haleiwa Church - Old wooden church at base of Diamond Head - and Kahalui Congregational Church, Maui (all superbly framed with trees!)
Very interesting gallery! A pleasure to visit!
