Clay is loaded into supporting timbers.
The design is drawn full size on newsprint paper which is placed onto the clay.
Transferring the design is done by pricking through the paper.
Then the picture is made up using seeds, cut leaves, lichen, moss, bark, grasses and dried flowers etc.
Villages have their own rules.
Some incorporate tiny stones, shells, fresh flower petals and even pasta.
On completion strong men carry the panels to the site where they are assembled.
