We were up early to travel the 45 miles to Whitby and arrive by 7:30.

The roads were nearly empty except for a motorcyclist who tucked in close behind us on the fast road from Pickering to Whitby.
I was doing 60 MPH when a deer ran across the road in front of us and I had to brake hard. I missed the deer.
