Snowdon Mountain Railway

Notice the angle of the boiler to cater for the steep incline.
Also, that the coach is not coupled to the loco.
Should the loco plummet off the mountain it will not take the coach and passengers with it.

Interesting machine - looks like well used.
Nice shot
