I thought perhaps we had destroyed the tiny chap’s home with the alterations but on looking at one of the other photos I took I see that it is injured.
I took it out the back and released it where it could go under the shed.
Minnie used to be very interested in that area so I think mice do live there.

UPDATE: 9 hours after the photo.

I went downstairs after posting tonight’s pic and Adrienne called me to the front window to show me that the mouse was back.
The poor little thing had made it back to the front of the house on three legs.
I picked it up and took it to the flower bed near to the bird feeder where it may find some food.
