10th April 2004

Over One Thousand Years of Wear

It was Easter Saturday, a rather drizzly sort of day and we decided to visit Canterbury Cathedral.
Although we had last visited when Peter was a baby we could not remember the details inside. Perhaps he had made a fuss and had been taken out!
It was magnificent. From the starkness of Good Friday the Cathedral was being prepared for the celebrations of Easter Sunday.

Really nice warm lighting here. Good job!

Beautiful picture Chris - you've managed to catch the glow of those polished steps with a very subtle lighting, nothing missing - nothing there that should'nt be there.

Lovely tones and colouring, Chris. I can almost hear the echoes of those footsteps...

Beautiful sheen and color ... I asume you added you footsteps to the many that have passed here.
