Magnolias in the Rain

So who was yesterday’s April Fool?
Yes, it was me. I expected someone to suggest that the page was not genuine.
It was a double bluff because of course it is true.
Can I produce a fake page as good as my image?
I doubt it but I will try when time allows.
You win.

PS. It took me ages to find the reference to Brooker in the book.

Ahhhh, beautiful magnolias! I've seen lots of them in bloom all over the place. I must find a way of having them in our garden.

Chris, That song is SOOOO happy! It's "Sugar Magnolia" by the Grateful Dead, in case you want to find it.....

I was rather disappointed with this photo and was therefore very pleased to receive such lovely comments.
Thank you all very much.
Thank you for the song Jeanne, did you sing as you were typing?
It contains a lovely invitation that makes me feel warm just thinking about it.
We are fortunate.
Springtime, with nature in all her beauty, is a tonic that replenishes the soul following the arduous winter.
I intend to make the most of it.

Can I quote one of my FAVORITE songs here??? It popped in my head the second I saw the image!

"Sugar magnolia, ringing that bluebell, caught up in sunlight, come on out singing
I'll walk you in the sunshine, come on honey, come along with me.

She's got everything delightful, she's got everything I need,
A breeze in the pines and the sun and bright moonlight, lazing in the sunshine yes
indeed.

Sometimes when the cuckoo's crying, when the moon is half way down,
Sometimes when the night is dying, I take me out and I wander around, I wander
'round.

Sunshine, daydream, walking in the tall trees, going where the wind goes
Blooming like a red rose, breathing more freely,
Ride our singin', I'll walk you in the morning sunshine
Sunshine, daydream. Sunshine, daydream. Walking in the sunshine."
