Sunset on a Log

Crescent Beach - Surrey, BC

On looking for a subject to photograph I found the log at water's edge and squatted on some seaweed (yew!) and later sat on the top portion of my camera bag, and settled in to just watch the light, log and water. Guess I was still enough for this gull to land and preen for a while.
Wonder if there's any small enough portable chairs out there. Squatting is not easy anymore!

your resolute persistence paid off...perhaps a small camping stool might prove useful on shoots requiring patience, or maybe a shooting stick chair..
